I served in the Navy.

Mr. Monty Ray Threatt

Services for Mr. Ray Threatt will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel at 3 pm. Visitation will be held from 2:30 until service time on Monday.
Mr. Threatt, 81, of Collinsville, passed from this life to the next on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Anderson Hospital. Mr. Ray was retired from the United States Navy after serving 20+ years aboard submarines and as an instructor. After his military career he went to work for General Motors and retired from them after 20 years of employment. He had many hobbies but the one that he enjoyed the most was repairing old pocket watches. In his earlier years he hunted but he soon realized the beauty of the outdoors and the wild life that lived in it and decided he would rather watch them than hunt them, he spent many an afternoon on his back porch watching the deer and birds.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Threatt; Sons, Jeff and Gerry Threatt; Sisters, Sharon Hale and Cathy Alexander; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Catherine Threatt.
Family and friends may sign the online memorial, leave a note for the family, or order flowers at jamesfwebb.com
