My dear Mama Sybil, You were a wonderful Grand Mother and a very special lady. I have wonderful memories of visiting you on the farm. I will always remember running and playing in the corn fields as a child. I will always remember the visits around the holidays with the big meals you and Mama Hurt would makes us. I wish I could have spent more time there with you and family. You will truly be missed. Love you always, Patrick

Dear Mother, you went to live with Jesus on Sunday, The Lord’s Day. I know that He prepared for you the biggest welcome home party ever. I also know that those whom you loved, especially your son, Johnny and your grandson Phillip, Mama Hurtt and Daddy Jack along with your sisters and brother were all there to greet you. Mother, God first chose to make you a part of my life. God chose to then take you out of my life. The time God allowed us went to quickly and most of the time I had to love you from afar. But I learned it’s easy to love someone from afar who influenced your life as you did mine. I wish there could have been more time, but God decides when it’s time to come home. Whenever I start to feel sad because I can no longer pick up the phone and talk to you, I will thank Him for making you a part of my life and I will think how sad I would have been not to have known you, Mother.. I will thank God for giving me so many happy and precious memories that will be with me for the rest of my life. Until we meet again. Your loving daughter forever
